Clinical (MSc 2)
Dr. C. Bowie

Hello! I’m in the second year of my MSc in the Clinical program at Queen’s. I also completed my BSc in Psychology at Queen’s and graduated in 2017. I’m completing my master’s under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Bowie, where we’re examining cognitive functioning and improving functional outcomes in psychological disorders, specifically Major Depressive Disorder and Schizophrenia. Throughout my undergrad, I was involved in a few different research labs: I volunteered with Dr. Stanka Fitneva in a developmental lab, completed a special directed lab with Dr. Tom Hollenstein and completed my honours thesis with Dr. Bowie.

I’ve TA’d PSYC 100 a few times and this year I’m TAing PSYC 202 and 204. Outside of academics, I was involved in the Psychology Department Student Council throughout undergrad in a few different roles, and served as a President in my final year. I also volunteer  as a community based mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Kingston. If you have any questions about getting into graduate school, which undergrad courses to take, getting involved in labs, completing an honours thesis, or anything else, please book a chat! I’d be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
